a particle of cinema tribe

About Me

I was born to a painters family in Łódź, romantically postindustrial city of central Poland.
Throughout my early life I was magnetized by painting, photography, music, writing, sculpture and theatre. On the path of growth I fell in love with cinema :  an adventurous elixir of arts, a patchwork made of humanity’s dream threads.

At the mythological age of eighteen I moved to Southern lands of Europe – Greece, where I absorbed and fell for the new culture. Greece supported me with an educational scholarship throughout all the years of studies at the Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, Fine Arts School at Film Department.
In 2012 I graduated with MA in Film Directing.

I have directed three short narrative films:

Telepherique (2011)
Anemography (Greek Film Center, 2012)
Ave Eva (Greek Film Center & Greek National Television, 2018)

And two short documentaries:

The Psychotronic Lady (2017)
Beyond Feyrouz (2019)

Between 2013 – 2016, I have been collaborating with the Italian television RAI 5,
directing short documentaries. Since 2012 I have been creating author hands-on
workshops for youth in Athens and isolated small villages of the islands the Aegean Sea.
Since 2013 I collaborate with Onassis Cultural Foundation and Benaki Museum in the educational sector.

Lately I have been exploring mini narrative forms, music videos, documentary portraits and transmedia storytelling. I participated twice in script developing and production workshops of Creative Europe Media Desk programs.

If I need to label myself I would choose:
a curious human being, film director, script writer, creative producer, film educator and a sailor

Currently I am on a journey of incubating a debut feature narrative film.

What I value most is friendship, empathy, brave hearts, kindness and creative spirit.
